GOAL:
Escort 100 World War II veterans to the new World War II Memorial in Washington, DC, on September 27, 2008.
ELIGIBILITY:
All ambulatory World War II veterans. There will be one (1) chaperone, known as Guardians, for every three (3) veterans, and one (1) medical doctor, two (2) paramedics, and a documentary film crew will accompany the group on the trip.
COST:
Total trip expenses are estimated to be $65,000. World War II veterans on the trip pay nothing. The cost for each Guardian to attend is $400.00.
